Well we survived. It was a lot of fun. We left out Wednesday morning, a lot later than planned. We went to Wal Mart to get the oil changed in my truck, and pick up a few things while we waited. We were told it would take an hour. That was 8:15am. An hour comes and goes and we are done shopping. We get back to the back and they are just now starting on my truck, wtc?? So one hour turns into 2 hrs. We finally leave WalMart and head to Richland to get gas and grab something from grandmas and finally we are off. The boys did good on the trip down there, we bought them markers, that color only on certain paper.. AW... whoever invited that is a genius! We made them take a short nap from Hattiesburg to Gulfport that way, they hopefully wouldn't be ill once we got there. It worked, :)! We got to the hotel and then straight to the beach! They loved it! They played in the sand and splashed and had a blast! We started burying daddy in the sand, but the boys decided that it wasn't that much fun, so it was left up to me to finish. I have pics to share.. :) Ryan was a great sport about it.
We also went to a waterpark on Friday while we were down there. Talk about a blast! We stayed for 6 hours and the boys were still not ready to go. If it were up to them, we would have stayed until they closed, but momma and daddy were worn out!! While at the waterpark, Colton discovered that he remembered how to swim! Man, he had a blast doing that. He was a fish from that point on. All he wanted to do was come up for air and start all over again! We knew he could do it, he just needed a little confidence and he was off from there. Pierce was rather ill, when he couldn't go on the big slides like brother. You had to be 42" to ride the big slides. They had kiddie slides that were a lot of fun too, Pierce really enjoyed that. While going down the lazy river, Pierce decided that he didn't want to ride on the float with either of us, he wanted to swim. So since the boys had life jackets on, we let them go... All smiles from them! :) Pierce also discovered that he can go underwater! He isn't scared of anything, kinda frightening for momma and daddy! He would do the same thing as Colton, jump up for air and back under water he went. He wants to learn to swim too! Which is great!
We got ready to leave the water park and not great news. The car wouldn't crank. Uh oh! And once it did crank, it sounded like all of the parts under the hood were being banged together ( kinda like pots and pans in the kitchen ). So here we are in Gulfport, about 2 hrs away from home and the car decides to act up, not a great feeling. Well after getting it started and getting back to the hotel, it cranks just fine and everything seems great. Sigh of relief from both, Ryan and I. On the way to find something to eat that nite though, the check engine light comes on, seriously? wtc??? So we stop at Autozone and have them run that test on it to tell us what is wrong, come to find out it has something to do with the left throttle sensor or something like that.. who knows, I don't know anything about cars. The guy assured us that we would make it back to Jackson save and sound. So we were crossing our fingers for sure. Well we did make it back home all in one piece, not burnt, and tired. So now we have to take the car to the shop and have it checked out... thank goodness for warrenties!
I have lots of pics to share, but no computer to download them to right now. Mine is being worked on by my father in law. But once I have it back and running I'll be sure to post pics!

Can't wait to see those pics! Sounds like you all had a great time and I glad that you were able to enjoy it, regardless of the car problems.
