I didn't realize it had been so long since I posted! Man, time is flying. We are just doing the everyday life things! Staying busy! The boys are keeping us going.. whether we are on the road going somewhere are just at home.. Man did anyone know how much laundry a family of 4 can create! DANG! I am thinking about going on a laundry strike! Anyone wanna join me??
Anyway, we have really been enjoying some REBEL football! We have had a rollercoaster season, but it has been great! We aren't fair weather fans, so we are there throught the good and the ugly!! We have taken the boys to a game, and are really looking forward to buying them season tickets next year and starting our family traditions of OLE MISS football!! One more game to go in the regular season and then off to the bowl game. Well we aren't going this year but we'll definitely have a cook out and watch it at home for sure!!!!
The boys are doing great. Colton is still loving his art! Man, he is talented (no idea where he got that from. Definitely NOT me..) Pierce is loving k4 and is doing great is speech! He is such an outgoing child and is getting to where he doesn't meet a stranger. He'll just go right up and start talking! :) Colton is a little more reserved than that!
OH MY, where has time gone? My baby is turning 5 in a few shorts weeks.. It is hard to realize that I don't have any babies anymore and that my youngest is turning 5!!!! I want my babies back. I know that they'll always be my babies, but still!!!!! Does it really seem like it has been 5 years? Not to Ryan and I it doesn't!!
We are getting ready to spend Thanksgiving with our family and friends and be thankful to our Lord and Savior for everything that he has done for us! We have SO much to be thankful for. He always provides for us and takes care of us in the good and the bad!! We can never be thankful enough to him!!
I promise to get back on here soon and post a lot of pics! I have some catching up to do!!

Oh Calm Spirit where art thou??
I posted not long ago that things were going so well with the boys. That I had been really praying for a calm spirit and guidance on raising and taking care of the boys. Well, the truth be told, it was working really good. UNTIL, momma started wondering away from praying and following God's will! Shame on me.. and boy can I tell!!
The last few weeks, more in the mornings than anything, have been rough... real rough!!! The boys don't really mind getting up in the mornings.. They are early birds, so that isn't really a big issue. The issues are more of eating and leaving each other alone while eating! I had no idea it was that hard to leave your sibling alone and take care of yourself. Boy was I wrong. I obviously don't remember much of my childhood in that department. Because I am sure that Clay and I were the same way.. just don't remember or well maybe I've blocked it all out! Then when I can get them to do that.. its an ACT OF CONGRESS to get them dressed (clothes and shoes) without telling them 50 times.. I might be exzaterating a little.. but NOT much! OMG!!! I have always been told not to pray for patience, because God will give you something that will really make you learn patience. So I do not pray for patience, instead I pay for a Calm Spirit!
I love my boys dearly.. but to be told that you aren't needed and that you are the meanest person in the world.. kinda takes a toll on you! I know that he probably didn't really mean it.. and I didn't let it get to me when he said it. But after pondering over the statements for a week, it starts to bother me! I can't help it!
So my solution, you ask? Well it is to get back into my praying and following the Lord in his ways, and I know that he'll take care of me!!
And this email that I got this morning is just a reminder! It is very fitting!

Its Amazing!
I have never been one to have patience.. and as a parent.. not having patience can make things rather difficult (more difficult than usual should I say!) But I have been praying reallyhard for a calm spirit. I have always been told never pray for patience because the Lord will definitely give you something to really make you have patience. So therefore, I pray for a calm spirit (thanks momma :) ).. So anyway back to the story.. I can tell a big difference in the way that my mornings getting ready go, the way the evenings go.. Man, GOD IS GREAT!!!!
Of course the boys are getting older too, which can help, but can also hamper things. The older they get the worse their mouths get ( who would have guessed.. I never had a bad mouth as a child! ), they find more to argue about, and they are stronger so they tend to hurt each other more in fights... GASP.. Yes fights.. I am who that lets them fight it out to an extent.. They gonna learn how to figure out their problems at some point, right?? NOTE: I do not let them make each other bleed or seriously hurt each other.
So I am truly thanking God for a calm spirit and more pleasent mornings and nights! Hopefully there will be more of those than the bad ones.
On another note, Colton had a check up on his med this week.. OMG.. he is finally gaining some weight.. he is up to 44lbs.. That is 4 lbs in 6 months.. Shock.. and he is 49" tall.. Before I know it, he'll be as tall and/or taller than me!!! Man time is flying.
Blessed be the Name of the Lord!!!

Colton's Artwork
Colton is taking Kidzart again this year. He LOVES it!! He is definitely my artist!! Not sure where he got that from.. sure isn't his mother!! I can't even draw a stick man.. ha!!!
This is the second one he did this year. Don't know what the first one looked like, cause he didn't bring it home from school.... Not sure what the red scribble is on the side.. but you can tell what the rest of the picture is. I am going to try to do better this year and post all of his drawings. Right now he is in a 12 wk class, and he'll probably do another 12 wk class in the spring..
Enjoy!!

Opening weekend of Football!!
Man it was great to see the best sport ever back on TV!! College football. The boys were out of town with my family this past weekend so Ryan and I had some quiet time and lots of football to watch!! Saturday was a long day.. cause even though it was kick off day for College Football, our Rebels didn't play until Sunday!!!
OH MY... the Rebels didn't start out too hot at all!! Matter of fact, Ryan and I were wondering about them!! We didn't look like a # 8 team at all!!! But they didn't let that get the best of them, and they came out playing better after halftime and boy did they put on a show in the 4th Quarter!! 45-14 over Memphis Tigers!! Way to Go Rebels!!!! Hopefully they'll use their off week wisely and work on the areas that need some help.. and we'll be ready to go on the 19th when they have their Home game opener against, Southeast LA!!!
As of today, we have moved up in the polls from # 8 to #6!!! HOTTY TODDY!!! Plenty more football posts to come this year!!!

Oh My... Its been forever!!
I can't believe it has been so long since I have posted a blog!! Not that we have been super busy or anything but just everyday life can be hectic at times! Not that ya'll don't already know that. The boys have started back school are are doing really well! Colton is back at Rouse in the 1st grade and Pierce is at Ms. Mandy's in Brandon. Colton did great, he has done this before. I was worried about Pierce because he was starting a new daycare. But to my surprise, he was a champ! The first day that he went, I expected tears from both of us, and a hard time getting out the door without him in tow. But man was I wrong. We walked in, showed him his room and took him to the back room where they serve breakfast and lunch and told him that I would pick him up that afternoon! He was being shy but still a trooper!! Made it much easier on me!!
We have gotten back into our school routine and things are flowing pretty smooth! Thank goodness! It seems strange to have just the boys in school and not me too, but it is a GREAT feeling!! Ryan is working a new side job, driving a tow truck. He loves it! Makes me feel good to know that he is enjoying what he does at both of his jobs.. Makes working easier for sure!!
We have added a new addition to the family, Chloe. She is an English bulldog mix. The lady that had her was getting ready to have a baby and didn't want to have to worry about a puppy, so we took her. Best part is that she was Free! Lord knows we didn't really need another dog, but! OMG I forgot how bad I didn't like puppies. They are so much work!! House breaking, making sure she doesn't chew everything in site and keeping your eye on her all the time! She is by far, the worst chewer I have ever seen... Even worse than our lab that we had! Thats Bad!! The boys love her, but they can't pick her up and just tote her around. She is 11 wks old and weights 20 lbs! She is a fat rolly pollie!!!
Other than that, we are just hanging in there, living life! I haven't taken any new pics lately, shame on me I know. Shhhhhh....I even forgot to take pictures on the first day of school... shame more on me!! I'll do better!! and I'll do better on posting as well!!
