I have never been one to have patience.. and as a parent.. not having patience can make things rather difficult (more difficult than usual should I say!) But I have been praying reallyhard for a calm spirit. I have always been told never pray for patience because the Lord will definitely give you something to really make you have patience. So therefore, I pray for a calm spirit (thanks momma :) ).. So anyway back to the story.. I can tell a big difference in the way that my mornings getting ready go, the way the evenings go.. Man, GOD IS GREAT!!!!
Of course the boys are getting older too, which can help, but can also hamper things. The older they get the worse their mouths get ( who would have guessed.. I never had a bad mouth as a child! ), they find more to argue about, and they are stronger so they tend to hurt each other more in fights... GASP.. Yes fights.. I am who that lets them fight it out to an extent.. They gonna learn how to figure out their problems at some point, right?? NOTE: I do not let them make each other bleed or seriously hurt each other.
So I am truly thanking God for a calm spirit and more pleasent mornings and nights! Hopefully there will be more of those than the bad ones.
On another note, Colton had a check up on his med this week.. OMG.. he is finally gaining some weight.. he is up to 44lbs.. That is 4 lbs in 6 months.. Shock.. and he is 49" tall.. Before I know it, he'll be as tall and/or taller than me!!! Man time is flying.
