Celebration of Love - Day 23

Ever wonder if you could love 2 people so much??  I did until God gave me these 2 precious boys!

My first born

The baby!

These 2 boys are my heart!  Never in a million years did I think I could love someone so much.  That was until my boys came along!!  Words can't describe the love I have for them (but if your a parent you can relate!  I love the bond that I have with each one of the boys.  Pierce might be a BIG daddy's boy but he loves his momma too!  Colton loves his daddy but he is a BIG momma's boy!  Colton and Pierce, I love you more than you'll ever know and I cherish the bond that we have with each other!  I thank God everyday for blessing me with 2 great boys!  I look forward many more years of joy, excitement, tears, and lots of fun!  Momma loves you very much!!

Celebration of Love - Day 21

Colton, can you please slow down on the growing?  You are getting to be such a big boy!! It seems like yesterday that you were so little, and now you are closing in on 9!

Here Colton is almost 3 and Pierce about 3 months!
Oh my, my babies used to be so little!

This is from our family pictures in
2006

This is from Colton's Christmas Play at daycare
2006
I really wish you would stop growing up so fast!  Before long you will be as tall as I am! I think I will try and put a brick on your head to slow you down some, so Momma and Daddy can enjoy ya'll little for longer!! We love you!!

Celebration of Love - Day 20

I wanted to take a look back at the boys when they were smaller! Where has time gone?  It seems like yesterday that Pierce was this little.. Colton too!

Pierce was about 3 months old in this picture, which
would make Colton about almost 3!

This was Christmas of 2006 if I remember right!
This is always 2006
Pierce you are growing up WAY too fast!  Momma and Daddy would like for you to slow down a little bit if that is possible!!  We Love you!!

Celebration of Love - Day 19

I love these 2 kids!  They are so sweet! They are growing up way to fast just like my 2 kids!  The boys love Ashleigh and Blake to pieces!!

Blake is our little outgoing, military loving, dancing nephew!
Ashleigh is our almost as tall as me, sassy, girly girl niece!
We love ya'll so much and enjoy spending time with ya'll (even though we don't do it enough) and watching ya'll grow up to be great and wonderful adults!

Celebration of Love - Day 18

Even though I didn't have a sister by birth, I have a wonderful sister in this girl! We have always been close and the older we get, the closer we get! There is 4 years difference between us.  She is beautiful, loving, caring, selfless, trustworthy, outgoing, energetic, and so many more things!
I couldn't ask for a sweeter "sister"! We might not be blood sisters but in all the areas that matter we are sisters! Cretia, I love you and I love the relationship that we have!  I look forward to being an aunt in June to a sweet baby boy that I will get to spoil!!!  Remember, pay back :) You have spoiled mine rotten so now I get to return the favor!  I love you!!

Celebration of Love - Day 17

The first thing I can say about this book is WOW!!!  This is the most amazing book I have ever read. (of course for those that really know me, know I don't like to read!) My sweet friend Destiny told me about this book that I just had to read. At the time I was in school and I really didn't have time to read anything or add anything else to my plate.  So I told her I would read it when I got the chance. So that time came while I was out of school for Christmas Break.  I couldn't put the book down once I started!  It was that GOOD!!! This book is a love story between a couple but woven within the that love story is another story, which is God's Unconditional Love for me! There are several things that this book reminded me of and still does to this day:
  • God Loves me Unconditionally ALL the time
  • No matter what I have done, God Still Loves me and wants to have a close relationship with me
  • Even when I stray away from God, he is ALWAYS gonna come find me and bring me back to him
  • If God gives me a Promise, he will ALWAYS fulfill that promise, even though it might not be in my timing or the way that I want it!
  • There are always great riches and rewards for obeying God and Loving him with all your heart
  • God didn't promise that life would be easy.  Matter of fact, he tells me that there will be trials and tribulations, but that I must put all my faith and trust in him! " Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him and he will make your paths straight." Proverbs 3: 5-6 (NIV)
Thank you Destiny for telling me about this book and nudging me to read it!  Even though I told you that I wasn't one to read! If you want a good book to read that will change you, this is definitely the book to read!! It is captivating!

Celebration of Love - Day 16

The bond that Ryan has with the boys is unbelievable!  I love to watch them when they are together!! Ryan is the best daddy ever!  Pierce has been a daddy's boy for the get go!  I remember when I was pregnant with him.  Ryan would talk to him and he would start moving and it seemed like he was trying to climb out! He could hear Ryan's voice from across the room and go crazy!! These two are so much a like its crazy (but a good crazy)!
Colton is a momma's boy for sure, but he has a very special bond with his daddy!! He loves to watch what Ryan is doing and wants to join him in whatever it is that he is doing.  They love to play sports together outside.  Colton is learning to love football the way that daddy does!  This past football season he really started getting into it.  He wanted to sit and watch the games, especially Ole Miss and Saints games!
I thank God for the sweet father/son bond that these 3 boys have!!  I love them to pieces!!

Celebration of Love - Day 15

This boy is a goof ball!

Pierce is a wild, outgoing child!  He LOVES anything outdoors and animals! He loves anything that is creepy, crawling, slimming and anything else.  Hard to believe when we got Abby ( when he was about 1 years old), he was petrified of her!  Now days, you'll see him looking for tad poles, frogs, bugs and all kinds of stuff.  He loves to ride horses, he might just be our Rodeo boy! He loves fishing, but his thought of fishing is different than ours. He doesn't really want to do the actual fishing, he just wants to play with the fish after someone catches it! He also loves to climb on things.  He could climb before he could walk - hence his nickname "Monkey"! He is a goof ball that loves to make everyone laugh! Momma and Daddy love you Pierce!!

Celebration of Love - Day 14

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY TO THE LOVE OF MY LIFE!
We are just as happy today as we were this day!
I married my best friend!
We enjoy being together, whether it be hanging out at the house
or getting dressed up and going somewhere!
He has turned me into a huge football fan!
An Ole Miss Fan to be exact!
He completes me and I can't imagine my life without him!

He is always:
Smiling
Caring
Thoughtful
Selfless
Hardworking
Loves making every laugh
The BEST daddy I could ever ask for!
A Godly man that loves his Lord and Savior!

Ryan, I love you more than words could ever say! I thank God
everyday for sending me a man like you! I look forward to many
more years together raising the boys, serving and following God,
cheering on the Rebels and just completely enjoying each other and
making the best of everyday!

"Love bears all things, believes all things,
hopes all things, endures all things.
Love Never Fails!"
I Corinthians 13:7-8

I LOVE YOU!!

Celebration of Love - Day 13

Baseball is one of Colton's Favorite things to do!!  He gets so excited when spring comes around because he knows it is time for baseball.  He starts anticipating the next season as soon as the current one is over!  He would spend day and night outside throwing the ball and batting if we'd let him!  Last year he played 2nd base and really liked it!  This year he moves up to kid pitch!  I am thinking it will be a very interesting year! Ryan and I both have always told Colton to be the best that he can be!  His best might not be someone else's best, but we want him to get it his all!  God has made him special and he isn't meant to be like anyone else!! We are so proud of him and look forward to watching him play another year of baseball!!  Best of luck Big Boy, Momma and Daddy love you so much!

They can always be close to my heart even when we are apart!  Thank you baby for my necklace! I love you!

Celebration of Love - Day 11

I can't remember what really made me decide to start blogging but I am glad that I did. Both of my parents live far away, so this is a great way for them to keep up. (Not sure if they actually read this, cause they sure don't comment. hint). I am not sure who else reads it.  I know I have a few friends that read it from time to time. I'd LOVE to know who all reads and follows.  I would love to have comments all the time too! Crazy, yes but that is me! I have always loved writing, even though I am the worst at grammar and punctuation.  I love the whole idea that my family can keep up with us.  Colton and Pierce are always doing something crazy, funny and many different things.  My blog gives me a spot to scrapbook since I don't do it anywhere else.  I am not creative enough to do all the fancy scrap booking!  Thank Goodness for Blogs!  You can turn your blog into a book if you want, which I think is an awesome idea.  I might have to do that some time.  Not only is my blog for writing about the boys and keeping family informed, but it is also an outlet for my thoughts and feelings.  I can put all my thoughts about things on here and then I can go back and reflect on them.  I also talk about my faith and my daily walk with God.  I look forward to many more years of blogging and reflecting on life and everything that comes with it!  I would LOVE to have more followers and for the ones that do follow me to let me know!

Celebration of Love - Day 10

I Love my family! They are one of the most important things in my life!! I always talk about the boys and Ryan. But I wanted to show some other faces!

I love each and every one of you that are in these pictures as well as the ones
not in pictures! I'll have to work on getting some pictures of MiMi and Poppa
so that I can add ya'll on here!

Celebration of Love - Day 9

I love how they are so caring and loving to each other (when they want to be).  Colton wanted to help Pierce with his homework last night while I got supper started.  Normally Pierce would throw a fit and not want Colton to help but he was open to it last night!

I know that they love each other, but sometimes it is really hard to see that with all the fussing, fighting, blaming each other and just being mean.  I try to remind myself that they are boys and brothers so they aren't going to be best friends and like each other all the time.  However, I really cherish the moments when they do show their love for each other.  My prayer is that they will be best friends and confide in each other.  And they will both grow up to be Might Men of God! Momma loves ya'll!!!

Celebration of Love - Day 8

Ok.. this is a fun love post! I got my love for these years ago.  It really started out with regular Dr. Pepper.  (I could say that the that sweet wonderful beautiful woman that I posted about on Day 6 could be to blame some for the love of Dr. Pepper when I was younger but I won't since she is so wonderful) But after having Colton I wanted to try and cut out the sugar so I could try and lose the baby weight.  So I started drinking this.. and man ole man, am I addicted to these!!

If I were to say that I was an addict (which of course I would never do). It would be to say that I was a Diet Dr. Pepper addict.  This is my coffee in the mornings and it is usually what I drink throughout the day, even though I need to drink more water! But since I am celebrating love this month, I figured I would post about all my loves not just my family!  :)

Celebration of Love - Day 7

I love the freedoms that I have! I love the men and women that have fought and are currently fighting to protect mine and my family's freedom! I love 3 men in my family that have fought and still serve this great county.  They have sacrificed so much and miss out on some much time with their family to serve this country.  They are very proud of what they do, and I know they wouldn't change anything.

Thank you, Uncle Mid, Clay, Lee and James for your service to this country and for sacrificing all that you do!! I love ya'll!! Your service and your presence in my life reminds me to be thankful for all the many blessings that I have in my life.  Some of the blessings might seem small but I am reminded that many people in different countries don't have any freedoms.  So from the bottom of my heart, I say Thank You for all that you have done and continue to do! I love all 4 of you!!

Celebration of Love - Day 6

I Love this Wonderful Woman!! She is the most selfless, caring, giving, compassionate woman I know.  She has always been there for me as well as everyone else in my family! She is always willing to do whatever needs to be done or whatever someone needs! Her whole life has been about raising her 3 kids and raising grandkids and now great grandkids! Her family is her world! She is the hardest working woman that I know.  She isn't scared of working for what she needs and to provide for everyone!  I love that she doesn't have to work now and that she can enjoy life!  I love that my children are getting to enjoy her in their lives as well! She is the backbone to this family!!

She is a beautiful woman inside and out!  God gave us a wonderful grandma and we cherish everyday that we have had with her and the many more that we will have with her!! I am thankful for her great health that the lord has given her! I love you Grandma and could never thank you enough for the many lessons you have taught me throughout my life and that you still continue to teach me.  I can never say thank you enough for everything that you have done for me and still do!  You hold a very special place in my heart!!  God knew what he was doing when he make a very special woman like you!! I love you!

Celebration of Love - Day 5

I love the fun that these 2 boys bring to my life.  I have learned and am still learning that will raising 2 boys there is NEVER a dull moment in my life.  They are always keeping me on my toes! They are always getting into something and being goof balls!

Pierce is by far my daredevil child! He isn't scared of anything and loves to
scare Ryan and I to death!
Colton is more the more realistic child.  He is going to think things through
before he decides to do something but he will let go and do something wild
from time to time!

Celebration of Love - Day 1

God has truly blessed me with an AMAZING husband!!

He is a selfless, caring, loving, supporting, hard working, devoted, God loving man! He is an awesome daddy to the boys and a great husband! He is my best friend.  I know that no matter what, he is always going to be standing there beside me (not behind or in front of me) and I am so thankful for that!! I can't imagine my life without him!  I love you baby!!!

** In honor of February, "The Love Month" I am going to try and post something I love everyday.  It will be a task for sure, but here is to trying to post 28 things I love this month! We'll call it Celebration of Love!

No way I'd let this happen...

at my house.....
But by the looks of it I did and I even got Daddy in on it..
Pierce might look just like his daddy but he does have some of his momma in him :)
He LOVES bread of all types and this his him finishing up the crumbs of the cornbread last night.

I love these boys!! Pierce is so full of energy, sweet, loving, caring, sensitive and always wanting to make you laugh!  Thank you God for these blessings!
