Back to School

It is hard to believe that it is time to start school again. Summers fly theses days. Colton starts back this Friday, Aug. 8! It gets earlier and earlier each year. He went to Rouse last year, but since we have moved in with Grandma, he will be going to my Alma Mater, Richland. He is going to Kindergarten again. Ryan and I thought that it would benefit him to get another year of Kindergarten in hopes of preparing him for "big school" as Colton calls it. He seems to be OK with the idea of going back to Kindergarten again. I am sure he'll have a great time. He said the other day that he was excited about it.
Pierce starts going to daycare on Monday, Aug. 11. This is the first time he has been to daycare since Nov. Grandma was gracious enough to keep him from Nov until now. she is the BEST!! He will be starting a new daycare, so we are optimistic about it. I am sure that he'll love it once he adjusts to it. He knew everyone at the other one, so that will be new and trying, but he is a very outgoing child, and once he realizes that everything is OK, he'll do great. He'll start K3 in Sept. His birthday catches him.
As for me, I don't have to go back until the 18th! 2 more weeks off before starting crazy land again. I took a summer class online this summer, and I just couldn't get myself into it. I guess because I really wanted the time off. I still don't know my grade for that class yet. I am taking 4 classes this fall, and I'll take 4 classes in the Spring and I'll be done! I am so excited. All of the stress and other fun stuff that comes with working full time, being a wife and a mother, and going to school will have paid off!
The boys have had a great summer. Ryan kept them along with my niece Ashleigh, and they had a blast. We also took our first family vacation, which was a lot of fun! Look forward to many more of those.
So we are gonna enjoy our last few days of no school and they'll we'll be in full swing for another school year!
