Some many people lost their lives that day in both towers, the pentagon, and the plane in PA that day! May God watch over their families and continue to help heal the wounds of this horrible day, that is forever in our minds!
It also strikes home a little too! So many fireman lost their lives that day! 343! There were also many police officers and other emergency personal that lost their lives as well! Our fireman do so much for us! It is a very dangerous job, but yet they LOVE it! It is in their blood! They would trade it for the world! Don't get me wrong all of the emergency personal risk their lives everyday, I just happen to be a little fond of fireman! I wonder why :)
It also hits home on another level, because Clay is serving in the US Military. He serves our country each and every day! And has sacrificed so much! He has done 2 tours in Iraq fighting terrorism over there. He has missed a lot of time with his family but that is his job and he does it proudly!! Not everyone can do that! I am thankful for the many many soldiers ( men and women ) that put their lives on the line fighting for our great freedom, that we take for granted!
Anyway, I hope that everyone takes a moment today, to stop and remember all the lives lost on this horrific day in history! May God Bless those who lost their lives and those fighting for our country and our Freedom!!!
