Completely Trusting

As humans, it is our nature to want to be in control of everything, and to think that we know what is best for our lives and our children's lives! It can be very overwhelming and very stressful! It can ruin every part of your life, because you are constantly worrying about what is going to happen, how you can fix everything, etc..

But Praise be to God, that if we completely surrender our lives to God and COMPLETELY TRUST in him, he will take care of everything. He knows everything about our lives, long before we are ever created! That is the way that God planned it! He is in COMPLETE Control over everything.

Then again, you try to believe and trust completely in God and the human part of you tries to rear its ugly head and convince you that you can do it on your own!! I know otherwise!! I CAN NOT do it on my own! I need my savior to take complete care of me.

To make matters even harder, is that as humans we want to decide what we will let God control and what we will control. It doesn't work like that either!! He wants it all. He is a very jealous God that wants all of you!! Not some of you, ALL OF YOU!!!

I have to remind myself of this time and time again. I am guilty of trying to let him have some of my life and some control of my life, and not ALL of it!! But time and time again, I am reminded that he wants ALL of me! He wants control of everything!!!

Father God, I pray that you help me to always completely trust you in every aspect of my life, no matter how big or how small!! Amen!
