A November to Remember!!!

What a GREAT Egg Bowl!!!!!!
45-0
Hotty Toddy!!!!!

Ryan and I had a blast! We couldn't have asked for a better trip! We headed to Oxford Thanksgiving evening. We spent the night up there so that we could do our traditional Black Friday shopping and go to the game. And since the game was at 11:30 Friday morning that was the only way to do it. We got up at 3:30 a.m. Friday morning and headed to Wal-Mart for the sales. Afterwards, we got breakfast and headed back to the hotel room to get ready for the game.

Oh man, did we have a great time. It was cold and a chance of rain, but that wasn't going to stop us. We had our jackets, rain gear and a blanket.. we were ready to go!!

Us before the game!! Watching the band march in the stadium ( me freezing!! )

Pride of the south marching in!!!!!

The guys were so pumped up for this game! It was very obvious from the time they came out on the field to warm up!

First drive of the game!! and we got a touchdown!! 7-0

One of the MSU players got hurt. I thought it was great that the MSU and Ole Miss players got together and said a prayer for the injured player while they were taking care of him on the field! And once they got him on a stretcher and ready to go off the field, the entire stadium stood up and clapped as they took him off the field! That is great sportsmanship!!

Good action shot of a field goal!
Bringing the Egg Bowl Trophy out of the locker room!!!

Our GREAT coach, Coach Nutt!!
So proud of that trophy!!!
Final!!!! 45 - 0
The trophy back where it belongs!!!!!!!
I think half of the stadium stayed after the game for the celebration! It was great!! The players were lovin it and so was Coach Nutt!! He was beside himself... as he should be! He showed the guys that they had the talent and he helped them realize what they could do!! Great motivatar!!
They dedicated this statute a couple of games ago!!!

Great picks. That would have been a fabulous game to attend or at least be able to watch on TV. Unfortunately we weren't able to see it...

Love to all,
Momma and Daddy G
