Am I Coming or Going??

That is the question of the year! Man when I jumped into nursing school I knew that I would be busy but in reality you hear that and think you understand but you don't until you are actually in nursing school.  And you add 2 boys with their homework and stuff.. BUT I LOVE IT!!!!  I am almost through 6 weeks of school and I am still very excited everyday!  Is it easy?  NO Is it a lot of work and effort? YES but it will be worth every minute of it!  Something else I am having to adjust to is having 2 boys with homework.  Man it's a big difference from 1 to 2!
I have had 2 tests so far and passed both of them!  I was excited about that.  Application tests are very different from any other test I have ever taken.  Nursing requires studying everyday, not just a few days before a test!  I have a great study group.  We meet several days a week and study together which is very helpful.  It allows us to see what we have learned and teach each other.  And we have long night before the test study reviews!  These normally last at least 6 hours.  We have been practicing our vital signs and our skills, which include NG Tube insertions, NG tube feedings, Sterile Wound Dressings and Sterile Catheters.  I have really enjoyed learning this.  I am a very hands on person so actually being able to use the knowledge I have learned is very helpful to me.  I Passed all my check off yesterday, Praise The Lord.  I can't tell you how nervous I was about this!  Today I had my second clinical and I actually got to do things because I passed check offs yesterday.  My partner and I went around and checked vital signs, which was a lot of fun.  We are in a nursing home this semester so it was nice to see all the people and hear a little bit about them.  I have been truly blessed to be able to have this oppourtnity to have this experience!  I have an AMAZING Husband and Family that I can't say enough about and can never say thank you enough to justify how I feel about them.  Most of all, ALL of the Glory goes to God for being faithful in getting me to this point and always providing!!!  He is always faithful!!!!
