Its been awhile!

Its been a while since I posted anything about everyday life! Things are going good, just busy as normal! Colton is really starting to like school, Thank goodness! I was really starting to worry.. I am a big Worry Wart!! His teacher even noticed how he didn't seem interested in school... how sad. I thought all kids in elementary school were suppose to love school. At the beginning of the school year I couldn't get anything out of him about his day. All I would get is, we colored, I had a good day... just stuff momma... UGH!! It drove me nuts. But I decided not to push the matter hoping he would open up in time... Well he is starting too. He is repeating Kindergarten, so we are thinking that had some to do with his lack of interest. The first few weeks were review for him. Now that the year is progressing, he seems to enjoy it a lot more!! He has started telling me more stuff about his day and his friends name! Which makes a momma proud!! He is such a big boy now.. As you can tell for my previous post, he lost his first tooth! Just another sign that my first born isn't a baby anymore! Far from it! But he will always be momma's baby. He is my momma's boy anyway! Pierce started K3 this fall and he is loving it. He is ready to go to school every morning, that is after I peel him out of the bed... He gets that from his momma... SHOCK SHOCK.. he actually gets something from me :) I made a trip to Wal Mart last night for a few things and while I was there, I decided I better get them some light jackets, as the weather is starting to cool off! So I get them both camo fleece jackets. ( It is still pleasant during the day, but it is chilly in the mornings ). So I get home with them last night and they loved them! So much that Pierce insisted on putting his own right then! "You can't do that silly boy, you are nasty". He didn't like that but he ok. After baths, I got them to try the jackets on to make sure they fit. (Colton is HARD to buy for, he is so skinny!!) They fit... YAY!! Well, Pierce didn't want to take his off. So here he is with a t-shirt and shorts on and a fleece jacket running around the house. He thought he was big stuff!! He is a mess! Colton joined in the fun too! First thing this morning, Pierce had to have his jacket on again! "Its cold outside momma, me need jacket!" So he got it and put it on and had to wear it to school. Grant it, it was chilly this morning, but I'm not sure that it was chilly enough for the jacket, but you pick your battles right? So he wore it to school, with a big smile on his face!!

So anyway, moving on! Ryan is finally getting a rest from working so much. There for a while, every time I turned around he was working doubles. Which makes the money good, but hectic everywhere else. Being gone 48 hours is tough on the boys and tough on me!! More that I have to do myself. But hey, shouldn't I be used to that? Ryan did work 2 full time fire departments for 4 yrs!!! 48 on and 24 off! Man am I glad those days are over!!!! How did I ever do it?? Guess you just do what you have to do and keep going.

School for me is going pretty good. 4 classes is keeping me busy for sure! There aren't many nights that I am not doing homework. But there are some nights where I just have to take a break. A girl can't do homework every night of the week and still be sane!! :) I am taking Applied Business Math, and for those of you that really know me, know that I am HORRIBLE in Math!! I have a serious brain block when it comes to math!! I don't know what it is... So this class has definitely been a challenge to say the least. The other boring class is Real Property, ew! I am enjoying Wills & Estates though... However for all of my relatives... make a WILL!! Would make things a lot easier!! HA HA... I had to put that in there.. Civil Lit is the last class I am taking this semester and well, I don't have much to say about it... We still haven't started. Come to find out, the instructor had a different book than the students, so we have had to wait until she got the same book as us! But we got an email this morning telling us to beware, she got the new book, and it was time to dive in!! More craziness!

Other than all of that, we are all good. The nice cooler weather is starting, which is great!! The fair starts today, and it just doesn't seem right without the cool weather! The last few years, the fair has been miserable because it has been so hot! Hopefully we won't have that problem this year. We are taking the boys to Oxford this weekend for the South Carolina game, and you guessed it, the boys are so excited!!! I'll take lots of pictures, as always, and post them maybe Sunday. Depends on how much school work I have to do!!
