We went to the ENT yesterday for a follow up on Pierce's picc line! We got a great report! His nose looked GREAT!!!! Can I get an AMEN! Dr. Reed was very glad to see that the 14 days of IV med worked and had Pierce go to go! He said that he has never had to do 2 picc lines on one child so that made me feel good! I was worried that all of this might come back and we would have to do this all over again! Of course, Pierce wasn't excited about getting the line out, because he associated it with pain and the hospital :( poor man! But he was a trooper, again, and did a great job! He is very careful with his arm, but is doing great. There is still a little hole where the line was, but it will close up in time. We just have to keep it covered a few days to make sure that dirt and stuff doesn't get in it!
The best part about the day was that he finally got to play in Momma and Daddy's big bathtub. He hadn't been able to do that since he got the line put in because we couldn't get it real wet! He loved being able to play in the bathtub again!
