On Thursday, April 14 Brandon Residents and emergency responders had the chance to pay our respects to a fallen soldier from Brandon. Most of us probably didn't know him but he is still a HERO to all! Master Staff Sgt. Jason Rogers was killed in the line of duty in Afganastan this month. He was returned to Brandon and we all lined Hwy 80 from the Airport to Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon. I was very touched to see all the people that turned out to show their respect to an American Hero!

I stopped taking pictures after the police departments because I wanted to focus on paying my respects to our local Hero and his family. It was a very touching and moving experience to take part of this. I have always been very patriotic and military is in my family. So it touches home with me!
Thank you to all of our fallen soldiers who have paid the ultimate sacrifice for our country!
Thank you to all of the active men and women who have fought and are fighting
for our country and our freedom!
A special Thank you to Uncle Mid, Clay and James
for serving our country!!
I love ya'll!!
