Trusting and Believing!

This morning, while sitting in the parking lot of the school waiting for the kids to load the bus to go on a field trip, I checked my emails.  I always get K-Love's Encouraging Word (bible verse).  Here is what this mornings was:

"Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise."

Hebrews 10:23

 

That verse really hit home with me this morning so I decided to post it to my facebook, and in my comments I wrote "This is what I needed to hear regarding nursing school.  I trusting and believe in in his promise". So after that I went on about my day going with Colton to the zoo! We had a great time and then headed home.  I had some studying to do for an A&P test tonight.  When I turned onto our street, I got this sudden knot in my stomach, and I can't explain why.  But I did what I always do, unlock the door and then went and checked the mail.  AND that is when the day got even better!!

I got my ACCEPTANCE LETTER to Nursing School!!!!

God is GREAT!! and He always fulfills his promises!! He called me into nursing and I am following his lead.  I got into nursing school and I know that he will see me through it all as well!!  I have been completely overwhelmed with emotions today!! So excited that I was shaking when I was reading the letter for the first time! To nervous and a little scared.  But I have nothing to be afraid of, my lord will be by my side every step of this journey and I am looking forward to it all!! That encouraging word from K-Love this morning wasn't an accident.  God knew and it was there for me this morning!! Praising God and Giving him the glory!!
