Remembering Captain Ochel Davidson

Captain Davidson fought a hard battle for many months.  He was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on Good Friday! What a day! God took a special man home the same day that his only son died for our sins! Ochel's faith through the whole ordeal was phenominal. He knew where he was going and he knew that he would be healed an there would be no more suffering and no more pain! It is so hard to say goodbye to someone, but it is comforting to know that he has complete healing and he is rejoicing with our Lord and Savior.

The Brandon FD made sure that everything was just right to honor Ochel and to remember him! And they did a great job.  I believe that Ochel would be very proud of the guys and the great job that they did. Not only where all the guys from BFD there as well as other agencies, which is so touching! But there were others there as well...

Captain Ochel Davidson was a great man!  He lived life to the fullest! He loved his family and had a love for the Fire Department!! He was a great example for all the guys on the department and he will be missed!!

To Tammy,

Your strength and faith throuh this difficult time as been AMAZING! You have been such a living testimony to me as well as so many others around!! God gave you the strength to be a fabulous wife and caregiver to Ochel as well as a mother to Rachel!! As we have talked before, even though this was a difficult time, God has been by your side and guided you through it all! God used you as well as Ochel and Rachel to minister to all of us around ya'll!

To both of you, I know this is a very difficult time, but God will never leave you! He is walking beside you each step of the way! Ya'll have a great support system! Know that no matter what it is that ya'll might need, no matter how big or small, we are willing to do whatever!!

I love ya'll and am continuing to pray for ya'll!!
